----- Morning Session -------
112 Meditation techniques from Lord Shiva to Devi Parvati.
Parvati requests for the knowledge (only then it is given by Shiva).
Only 2 techniques are related to sex (rest are all not about sex) but tantra has been (wrongly) linked with sex.
1) "Chakita Mudra" -- The Wonder Pose
The universe is a gift from the creator to us - it has so much variety, in vegetables, flowerfs, fruits and even people ! There are 3000 varieties of potatoes alone in Peru !
How would you like if you gave a gift to a child and he/she just put it away without any enthusiasm?
Would you not rather the child opens the gift in excitement?
Same is true about creator -- the universe /creation is a gift to you, from the creator.
It's purpose is to evoke a joy & wonder in you.
Your excitement and joy/wonder, would make the creator glad! :)
Practice Chakita Mudra as often, if not with others, in front of the mirror at your self ! (heheh)
Eyes popping out, quick short breath, both palms raised below the face, facing away, and flung backwards. ("Taken by surprise, being amazed")
The incoming breath evokes shakti.
2) I don't know!
The progress of all life is from an agitated, disturbed, angry "I don't know !!!" to a beautiful, wonderful "I don't know......!!! :) "
The best scientists will say, " I don't know" when talking about their achievements. People who have achieved extraordinary, see their interviews, they all say, "I don't know... It happened...!!"
A scientist who says he knows it all is not a mature scientist. The more scientists know, the more they come to know that there is more to know, or that they don't know !
So life is about going from an agitated "I don't know" --> to "I know it all" --> to a beautiful "I don't know ... !!"
Meditation: Close eyes and just be in the state of I don't know for 5 mins - mind goes blank.
3) The Horse Shoe
Horse shoe is considered a sign of luck -- why? ..
The shoe resembles the flow of the breath -- the breath also does a U-turn at the root of the nose, before it goes through the throat to the middle of the heart/chest.
The mind is not within the body, but the body is within the mind. The mind is 12 inches all around the body ! When someone blames us, the mind contracts. When someone praises us or we feel happy, then the mind expands.
This is why the Mukuts of the deities all are supposed to be 12 inches tall, to protect the sahsrar chakra area -- also this is why they wore turbans.
Horse Shoe Technique :--
Sit comfortably, chant Om thrice.
"fold the mind" which is all around and place it exclusively in the nostrils.
Observe the breath, go in and out. IN the nostril, feel the temperature and volume of the breath within the nostrils, follow the breath as it goes in to the nostrils, to the root of the nostrils, making a U-turn, and then to the chest /middle of the heart region through the throat. Again, going out, observe the breath as it goes out, through the chest to the throat, making aU-turn and out through the tip of the nostrils, till 12 inches below the nostril.
Repeat this for some time (5-10 mins).
Visualise a tiny dot of light as it goes in and out of the nostrils/throat/chest.
Take a deep breath in, and breath out - as you breath out become aware of your body and surroundings. Breath in and out very slowly. Slowly open your eyes.
4) Chakras - -
There are 109 chakras in the body and 7 being the key chakras.
Chakra meditation focusses on each chakra and spends time as we place our attention on the base of the spine (as though energy is spread below the buttocks), then to the area behind the genitals (imagine a glow of light shooting from mooladhar to 2nd chakra). Then after some time (2-5 mins) move on to the stomach chakra, place your attention in the stomach region, then onto the heart region, then onto the throught region (bring attention to a point in the center of the throat), then to a point in the center of the skull behind the eyes, and to the top of the head, relaxing all the face muscles in the brain etc. slowly open eyes.
Just a gentle attention on regions without not any effort.
Also there is a practice of placing attention behind the eyeballs, behind the mouth, throat ...
5) Vishwaroopa Darshanam
Imagine the whole world is all skeletons.
When Krishna gave Arjuna the Vishwa Roopam, Arjuna said, I can see all the great wariors etc, their skulls being crushed as they plunge into you. It means they all dissolve and become nothing.
Skeletons are the grossest things which remain of us after death. The subtlest which remains of us is Consciousness. Bhairava is Maha Kaala as the Bhairava transcends kaala(death).
So Parvati addresses Shiva, "Deva deva... kapaala bhooshita" -- such a beautiful lady, why is she praising Shiva for his garland of skulls?
The skulls of everyone are the same, whether intelligent or dumb, rich or poor, everyone is the same in skulls. Shiva transcends the Kaala, or death hence he is the real beauty beyond the death, and garlanded.
If you think anyone is bothering you, just imagine they are skeletons -- Have an X-Ray vision, see that they have become skeletons -- they are going to be skeletons anyway, time is will make them into one, why bother with anything they do ?
6) STOP - 5-15 Seconds ("Statue!!")
Like kids we used to play the game "Statue!" where we srop everything and just freeze in a pose.
Do the same , just STOP the body, ,mind and breath wherever it is -- for 5 to 15 seconds (at least 5 seconds) esp before any important decisions. It invokes the shakti.
Shiva says to Devi -- without shakti, one cannot realise me. Just like Light is needed to see things which are already there in the room, the Shakti is needed to see(realise) the Bhairava who is already everywhere.
All these techniques are meant to raise the shakti in us.
----- Afternoon Session -------
7) Peacock Feather
Lord Shiva tells Parvatri that the experiences of the senses are like the peacock feather.
The colours in the peacock feather seem to promise a depth, but when you turn the feather, we see it's not deep at all.
Same is true with the world of senses -- it's beautiful, but does not have the depth.
Our eyes, so small retina, has seen the stars and so many grand things, so many movies, has anythign remained? Same without little mouth, daily we push in about 2 kilos of food and 2-3 kilos of water - 5 kilos a day, tons in a year and 50 years, so many more tons. Where is it all? It's all gone.
Same with ears, all the music and things we have heard with our little ears, it's all gone. Also with touch, so many things we have touched - hot, cold, soft, harsh -- where has it all gone? It is all gone ! We have zero.
The world of senses is nothing and has no depth.
8) Try to say the word "Ka" without "A". (Many tried, but could not)
When tried mentally, mind goes blank.
Whenever you try to do something which is not possible, we reach the state of Bhairava.
The word , any letter, can take you to the state of Bhairava.
Stories of Tenali (how he did the impossible of putting the elephant in a pot for a wailing child on his way to the palace and surprise the king -- Tenali made a hole and opened the pot from the bottom, and asked the child to see the elephant by peeping into the pot -- verily the child saw the elephant within the pot and was happy. Another store of Sri Rama, he once discarded all toys and said he wanted the moon to play with . The courtsmen brought a mirror in which Sri Rama could see the moon for himself)
Bhairava mean The Impossible -- The source of Creativity. Anything we are in touch with creativity, we are in touch with Bhairava.
Vignan mean science. Bhairava means the creative plane from which all things come from, stay and go back to. Vignan Bhairava is the science of getting in touch with Bhairava.
The pause after the mantra is the substance. The gayatri mantra begins with dhyana and there is dhyan also after the mantra. This dhyan is the substance.
Any word you take, go beyond the sound into the pure state.
This knowledge cannot be got by books -- Guru is needed says Shiva, as Guru transmits through vibrations. It gets into the DNA, the whole body absorbs.
Isme se ek bhi pakdo(technique) - siddh ho jaoge!
9) Even Music can lead you into samadhi.
Continuous sounds of flowing water or hum of air conditioner (without thuds/cranking) can stop the mind. The Music ( various sounds ) can lead to samadhi - said Shiva to Parvati.
Mooladhar - Drums
Swadhishthaana - "Jal Tarang", and Piano
Manipura to Anahata (Navel to Heart) - String instruments (metal)
That's why when you hear metal screech it feels in the stomach !
Anahata to Vishuddhi (Heart to Throat) - Flute
Anjna Chakra (Between the eyebrows) - Conch ("Shanka")
Sahasrar (top of head) - Bells (little tinkling bells put babies to sleep[that's why ties to cradle] - but drums cannot put babies to sleep. Some people that resonate with Mooladhar, love drums, rock music, and are happy with the same)
Not intent listening, just getting in tune.

Not intent listening, just getting in tune.
Not too much music, just like mantra snaan, just for a little while music must be immersed in... (Not just making music an orphan, by not actually listening to it)....
In the temples, the instruments used to be played for every person who enters. The drums are seen at the entrance. Conch and bells are found only within the innermost sanctum.
Evolution in Sanskrit
Ka Cha series -- Birds -- Khechara, they make these sounds...
Ta series -- Tra, Ta, Da -- Amphibians make these sounds (Frogs etc)
Pa, Pha, Ba series -- Only mammals, sheep can make these sounds etc.
Ya, ra, la va, series -- Only Humans (Malayalam, Tamiz, only humans can make such sounds).
Sanskrit starts with A, and ends with ha -- laughter "Ahahaha" contains all the alphabets.
"70% of the English Language comes from Sanskrit." -- Sri Sri
1/100th of hair, and it's 1/100 of 1/100th is the ego...

1/100th is the paramanu (ego smaller than paramanu)
Such a small thing this who is, it keeps going all around the body.... People say they have big ego ... It's (non sense).. there is no big or small ego, however big your ego, it's still so tiny/small.... (I.e. ego is so small)
When it attaches to he limited it creates havoc, when it attaches to the sky, to the infinite it is liberating...
The mahat tatva is still smaller than ego, when it is touched then everyone becomes one's own (it includes everyone and everything)... One in touch with mahat is Mahatma...
10) Attention
Anything you put your attention to,that you catch on. Putting you attention into the Space -- islam adopted it, (when they offer namaz, they meditate on space). Looking at wall -- the jews adopted. The Buddhas and Jains, they adopted beautiful statues of Mahavir with a pleasant smile or Buddha -- sitting in meditative pose. Same with Shiva, he is seen in meditative pose. Or meditate on the Guru, his form, and mind will imbibe same qualities. You either get blessed or get the quality to bless others.
Whatever we put our attention on is important to attain stillness ("Sthira") & samadhi.
11) The Pranavas.
The 3 Pranavas -- Vaidic Pranava is Aum.
Pranava means that which give you prana. Quintessence of sound.
Shiva Pranava -- Humm!! (as done in kriya)
Shakti Pranava - Hreem!
Chanting these raises the energy, Prana in us.
Important: Before and after Omkaar keep silence.
**&***So many millions of people lived in this city, where have they all gone?
12 ) Hrit Shoonya bhavayet sthiram
We have come from infinite ancestors and ahead of us also we have infinite humans as descendants
We come from Infinity and go to infinity -- we are infinity within too.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2yB_cZ6nZ0
So everyone is our own. Somewhere or the other we are related.
Shake hands with the emptiness:
Also, we don't know name of your great great grandfather/parents. Nor are the generations going to remember you (beyond couple of generations). Even your photo would not remain after 50 years, it would be taken off, when it gathers dust down the line. When your children's family comes, their attention goes to their children from you. They are not going to remember you forever, even if you die they may cry for a couple of days. If you made people sad they will be happy you are dead !
I saw a bus full of old couples in south africa, from old age homes, they were so miserable, misery was dripping you could collect it in a pot from their face!
Because the children (for whom they were so attached) put them in a old age home.
So much attachment -- "My wife, my childeren, my daughter in law" -- that is their whole world.
Are bhai ! Jago ! Yeh sab kuch nahi hai... Haath nahi lagne wala kuch !
If you don't know how to shake hands with emptiness, you are miserable. If you know how to shake hands, it is bliss, ananda.
Us vishram me hi Raam hai, wahi Bhairav hai...
Meditation you can do through many means . ..
13) Waiting
Waiting is a junction, like Secunderabad junction. It can either lead to frustration or meditation.
Shake hands with the waiting.
Usually we are waiting for something and hence tend to get frustrated.
But if you focus on the very process of waiting, if you encounter waiting from the other side, you enter the saakshi bhaav.. we observe the breath, the mind.. feel very light...
Chintana , Manana, Nidhi Dhyaasa-- Guruji wanted everyone was make groups of 10-15 and discuss what was told in 2 sessions. Not surpirsingly, in the group, people exchanged so many points which others had missed out on.
Spread positive news....
Jai Gurudev!
